Transformation

Not a lot of us are truly happy in life. Most of the time this is a symptom of the fact that we are not happy with who we are.
In my own life , I have met many decent human beings , copious amounts of those who are human beings in name only(poor excuses for human beings), and very few exceptional people.
Here is the vicious circle: being lazy, apathetic, uncaring and heedless is very easy to do, this is why the majority fall into this category. It is very challenging , however , to strive to reach your full potential- the potential to be exceptional, enlightened and free, so very few undertake this path. The lazy path, in reality only appears effortless, in fact it will require so much effort that it will leave you sick and decayed.
The lazy path brings suffering, the exceptional path brings peace.
To deny your potential is blasphemous. You will be governed by the false in place of truth, therefore you are lost. Your spirit thrives on ultimate truth, and progression; when you deny your spirit and work against the TAO you are lost.
Find yourself, but take care to let no man define you.
The only way to progress is to take an honest look at who you are. Only when you see the starting point clearly, can you move forward.
The time is now, and it begins with you.
Let us unite, and revitalize the ancient Way.

Regulating Emotion

Desire itself is a natural and necessary part of being human . It is attachment to the object of desire that causes problems.
Without desire , we would never have the urge to learn and grow , or reach our potential as human beings .
What makes the problem more complex and confusing , is that our minds are overwhelmed by emotion ; therefore we fail to see things clearly - the truth of things. Being overwhelmed by emotion is to the mind what trying to peer through a glass of filthy water is to the eyes .
So , how does one filter the waters of the mind , and how can we calm its flow in order to stop the sediment from being stirred up ?
Meditation will calm the waters , and bring Power Of The Mind.
This power is the filter.
The best way to influence others is unseen : just work to fulfill your Human Potential , Live by Truth and TAO , and your life will serve as a glowing example to others.
Use the wise-ones , sages, and masters, as your mentors - discard the Harpers and the Trumps... they are little more than fools.

Desire Leads To Suffering

So , how does one get what he wants , without desire and suffering ?

At this point , with our small and cloudy minds , what we want tends not to be what is best ; or what is harmonious .
We have to make a distinction between the things we desire for instant gratification or relief , and what we want in order to care for and nurture ourselves and others . Is your desire motivated by greed , or envy , is it fleeting ? Or , is it substantial and in harmony with the TAO ?
Let go of the things that you do not truly want , and release the things you do.
Free , Free , Set Them Free . Just like Sting said .
Clinging to things too much , will actually repel them . You are only perpetuating a state of wanting .
Keep the things you want in mind , and follow the Way . When you learn to live by the Tao, instead of yourself - you can understand that everything you need is provided by Tao . When you live in harmony with the Holy Spirit(TAO) , you understand your place and function in the universe .
Live with the attitude that all is provided for , and discard the attitude of needing and craving.
